B-
Green Bay Packers
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Packers.

2024 NFL Draft
· 7 picks
· 0 steals
· 0 reaches
Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Packers never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.
On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get a lockdown presence outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
A straight-up fair deal on T'Vondre Sweat at slot 41, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
No edge and no loss on Kingsley Suamataia in pick No. 58; it is a wash and a sensible one. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
No drama and no debate, Khyree Jackson went about where he belonged in No. 88. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They took Brenden Rice at par in the 91st overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. The roster fit checks out.
Ben Sinnott at the Round 4 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Javion Cohen in the 169th pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
