The Patriots bet big and early on Barryn Sorrell, 92 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. With interior defensive lineman and quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.
