The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Hadden. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
