There is reaching, and then there is Trente Jones at slot 210. The Eagles jumped the board by 40 and dared it to prove them wrong. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback. If one pick saves this weekend, it is McCormick.
Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 22nd pick they get a plug-and-play piece up front. A real need, handled.
Cooper Beebe in No. 50 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
