The Jasheen Davis pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 147 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

However the rest shakes out, Higgins at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
