The Cowboys treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 249th overall pick on Jasheen Davis a full 112 spots early. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The Rourke value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
