The Cowboys did not so much draft Jasheen Davis as overpay for him, 127 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

Paul Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
