The Cowboys spent real capital to be 147 picks early on Jasheen Davis, and the board is going to hold them to it. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Wilson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
