The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Carson Schwesinger slide 81 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Jefferson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
