The Cowboys spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Donovan Ezeiruaku, the No. 67 name on the board, in the 170th overall pick.
The Dellinger pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Travis Hunter in Round 1, Pick 12. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Ashton Jeanty at No. 44 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Jayden Higgins at the 76th overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Smael Mondon Jr. at pick No. 150 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
The board fumbled Donovan Ezeiruaku all the way to the Round 5 slot, and they scooped it up. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Somehow Kurtis Rourke was still sitting there in the 172nd pick, and they pounced on premier quarterback value. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
A straight-up fair deal on Oronde Gadsden II at pick 174, value and slot in agreement. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Rylie Mills in slot 190 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Ajani Cornelius at the 211th overall pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Garrett Dellinger at pick 249 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
