The board owed the Commanders one, and it paid up: Bud Clark, the No. 99 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The cost of the Everette reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
