Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. T.J. Sanders, the No. 30 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 236th overall pick. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Dylan Parham gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
