Somebody took the Dolphins to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. The Watts pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
