Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Josaiah Stewart got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at the 247th overall pick. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
