You could see the war room lean forward. Jadarian Price at pick 92 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Halton has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 32 they get a building block for the line, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
The board fumbled Jadarian Price all the way to the Round 3 slot, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They took Jalon Kilgore at par in the 96th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A minor itch, scratched.
They liked Gracen Halton enough to skip the value, taking him in Round 4, Pick 12. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Good price on Charles Demmings in the 152nd pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Domani Jackson at pick 180 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the cornerback. They added to a strength when a need was still open elsewhere.
The board had Keagen Trost higher than slot 188, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
