When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jack Pyburn at the 219th pick, a reach of 71 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. The Maxx Crosby pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

So much rides on Emmanuel McNeil-Warren that the real verdict is a season or two away.
