B-
Miami Dolphins
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Dolphins.

2024 NFL Draft
· 7 picks
· 4 steals
· 2 reaches
The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Dolphins reached some 38 spots for Nick Gargiulo, and value like that does not grow back. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
The Thomas Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.
The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
They will replay Kool-Aid McKinstry at the Round 2 slot for years; that is how good the value is. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Circle this one: Brian Thomas Jr. at slot 55 is a fall that decides a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They let Kiran Amegadjie come to them and pounced at Round 3, Pick 13. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Grayson Murphy at No. 158 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Sione Vaki at the 184th pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A minor itch, scratched.
Curtis Jacobs in pick 198 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Nick Gargiulo in pick 241 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
