More right than wrong for the Cowboys, and a B- to prove it.

The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named wide receiver, a need the Cowboys walked right past. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
Sweat has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
They jumped the gun on T'Vondre Sweat, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A need, and now a little less of one.
By-the-book stuff, Kiran Amegadjie at the Round 2 slot squarely in line with his ranking. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They paid sticker price for Byron Murphy II in pick 66, and that is fine. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
TreVeyon Henderson in No. 87 is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Junior Colson in Round 4, Pick 9 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A clean, defensible pick in the 124th pick with a little surplus value in Khyree Jackson. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
