The Commanders bet big and early on Joe Milton III, 98 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
However the rest shakes out, Chambers at that price is a win they earned. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
