The Commanders spent the pick that matters most on J.J. McCarthy, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The Brian O'Neill deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Bottom line, with J.J. McCarthy leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
