New England Patriots
Maye is the plan now, and the Patriots grade out a B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.
The Lloyd steal is the beam this whole class leans on. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 3rd pick they get a franchise quarterback. A real need, handled.
They robbed the room for Michael Penix Jr. here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A need, and now a little less of one.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Kiran Amegadjie at the 68th overall pick is the proof. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Ja'Tavion Sanders at Round 4, Pick 4 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. The roster fit checks out.
A quiet steal in No. 136: Javon Foster for less than the market said. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They barely believed it either: MarShawn Lloyd still on the board at the Round 6 slot. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Brevyn Spann-Ford at pick 229 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
