Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Giants came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Reaching for Van Pran left real value on the table behind him.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

A straight-up fair deal on Keon Coleman at No. 37, value and slot in agreement. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A conviction pick on Sedrick Van Pran at the 54th overall pick that the board grades a round light. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
