The search is over. The Giants handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development.
Van Pran has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.
Getting Wilson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 6th pick they get the face of the franchise. A real need, handled.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Chop Robinson at No. 47 is the proof. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Sedrick Van Pran. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Roman Wilson at pick 107. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jaylin Simpson. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
LaDarius Henderson at the 148th overall pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
The board had Miyan Williams higher than Round 6, Pick 24, and the running back fell to them anyway. A need, and now a little less of one.
