Somebody in pick No. 47 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cardinals sat still while Jahdae Barron, the No. 14 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
