The Giants spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Moose Muhammad III, the No. 165 name on the board, in pick 220. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
It is not that McKinstry is a bad player; it is that the Giants had louder needs to answer first. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

The eyebrow-raiser of the weekend. They went defensive back with Kool-Aid McKinstry while clear needs at interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots sat open.
They robbed the room for Rome Odunze here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
No edge and no loss on Kris Jenkins in slot 54; it is a wash and a sensible one. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
The board had Jermaine Burton higher than pick 69, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They took Audric Estime at par in pick No. 105, which is nothing to complain about. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Danny Stutsman in the 112th pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

A wide receiver of that caliber at No. 183 is the definition of value, full stop. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Moose Muhammad III in Round 6, Pick 45, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
