The Commanders spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The Trotter Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

Every board in the league had Bell lower, and that gap is the story. The Trotter Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back and interior defensive lineman still on the board.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
