There is reaching, and then there is Jordan Jefferson at slot 142. The Cowboys jumped the board by 45 and dared it to prove them wrong. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Jones value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
