Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Ryan Watts at pick No. 180 is 81 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Put together, it is a D-.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The whole projection now runs through Drake Maye; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They banked enough surplus on Wiley to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
