B
Arizona Cardinals
A passer of the future in Beck, and a B, for the Cardinals.

2025 NFL Draft
· 7 picks
· 2 steals
· 1 reaches
They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Carson Beck is the Cardinals' quarterback, full stop. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Mertz. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
The Igbinosun pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 8 they get the arm they will build around at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Kenneth Grant at the 40th pick. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Josh Simmons at the Round 3 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Jay Higgins in pick 104 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The roster fit checks out.
A real head-scratcher, Davison Igbinosun in pick No. 136 is miles ahead of his ranking. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Circle this one: Graham Mertz at Round 6, Pick 8 is a fall that decides a draft. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A straight-up fair deal on Colbie Young at the 200th overall pick, value and slot in agreement. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
