The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Kris Abrams-Draine, slot 166, roughly 75 picks past where he belonged.
They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: safety settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 6th pick they get a go-to option on the outside at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
The board fumbled Nate Wiggins all the way to No. 47, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A tidy little value on Cooper Beebe in the Round 3 slot, a step better than break-even. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They will replay Renardo Green at pick 107 for years; that is how good the value is. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Somehow Kris Abrams-Draine was still sitting there in pick No. 166, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. It fills a real need, too.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Ty'Ron Hopper in Round 6, Pick 8. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
