The rest of the league will want that one back. Danny Stutsman tumbling to the Dolphins in pick 149 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
If Parker pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher. The biggest hole, addressed.
Malaki Starks in the 48th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jake Majors in slot 98. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Mason Taylor slid further than he should have, and pick 114 is lovely value for the tight end. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Cam Skattebo at Round 5, Pick 1 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
The board fumbled Danny Stutsman all the way to the 149th pick, and they scooped it up. A need, and now a little less of one.
They robbed the room for Luke Kandra here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A reach on Xzavier Henderson in pick No. 224; the board had better options right there. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Trey Wedig in pick 231, miles early. The roster fit checks out.
Steven Parker at the Round 7 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
