The Dolphins did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Lander Barton fell into Round 7, Pick 8. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They are betting Uiagalelei proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
