The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Dolphins watched Kamal Hadden slide 73 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 21 they get a long-term starter on the line. A clean fit for the roster.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Chris Braswell at slot 55 is the proof. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Devontez Walker at No. 82. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Jalyx Hunt at pick No. 158 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Somehow Trevor Keegan was still sitting there in the 184th overall pick, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Kamal Hadden at the Round 7 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
