You can hear the double-takes from here. The Packers took Isaac Rex at pick 255, roughly 67 spots before his name belonged. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Landing Washington that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
