Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Packers spent the 219th overall pick on Trajan Jeffcoat, a name the board had a full 89 spots lower. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Spending an early pick on safety with quarterback and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.
