The Cardinals treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the Round 5 slot on Cam Miller a full 101 spots early. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Restrepo. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 16 they get a run-stuffing presence up front at fair value.
Donovan Jackson at pick 47 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Xavier Restrepo at the Round 3 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Ty Robinson in the 113th overall pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The roster fit checks out.
A real head-scratcher, Cam Miller in slot 151 is miles ahead of his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
