The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Ryan Fitzgerald slide 126 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.
If Conner pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 30 they get a No. 1 receiver, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Jihaad Campbell at slot 58 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
