Everything else got attention, and tight end got none. That is a strange way for the Vikings to leave a draft. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.
The Ford reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. That Phillips pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
The Logan Hall deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.

In the 19th pick they get a building block for the line. The biggest hole, addressed.
