Everything else got attention, and running back got none. That is a strange way for the 49ers to leave a draft. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
The Miller reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

A real head-scratcher, Blake Miller in pick No. 27 is miles ahead of his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Germie Bernard. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
