The Chiefs spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Harold Fannin Jr., the No. 21 name on the board, in the 72nd overall pick. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
Reaching for Higgins left real value on the table behind him. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

In the Round 1 slot they get a building block for the line, a steep price for the projection. Exactly the need they had to hit.
A market-rate interior defensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Tyleik Williams. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Circle this one: Harold Fannin Jr. at Round 3, Pick 8 is a fall that decides a draft. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
