When a board-topper like Mike Washington Jr. slides to Round 5, Pick 30, you do not overthink it, and the Chiefs did not. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The Scott pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback and linebacker.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In the end it comes back to Caleb Downs, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
