There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Chargers started one anyway for Frank Crum, 114 picks ahead of schedule. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
