The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Jaxson Dart slide 50 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Every board in the league had Marks lower, and that gap is the story.
Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.

In the 28th pick they get a blindside protector at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
They paid sticker price for Tory Horton in pick No. 60, and that is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Quincy Riley in the Round 3 slot is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A quiet steal in No. 92: Jamon Dumas-Johnson for less than the market said. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Jaxson Dart in the 122nd overall pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
