After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
