The war room fell hard for Michael Pratt, and it showed at Round 2, Pick 29: 41 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Hadden pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with safety still on the board. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Getting Colson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
