Whoever sat across the table from the Vikings should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The Rogers pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Smith-Wade pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Vikings indulged a want in Jackson while a need in safety stayed open.

They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

In the end it comes back to Nate Wiggins, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
