The Chargers put a flag in the ground for Ahmaad Moses, 86 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. Bell falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 22 they get a disruptor off the edge. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They paid a round early for Chase Bisontis in No. 55, more than the board wanted. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Darrell Jackson Jr. in pick 86 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Markel Bell in the 123rd overall pick. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They reached into another round for Ahmaad Moses, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A minor need, but a need all the same.
