After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.
The Spears-Jennings pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Klein. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 1 they get their guy under center for the next decade. A clean fit for the roster.
Fair-plus on Denzel Boston, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Circle this one: Gennings Dunker at Round 3, Pick 3 is a fall that decides a draft. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
