There is conviction, and then there is this. The Steelers took Nick Barrett a full 93 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Taylor. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
