Some picks age like wine; Cobee Bryant at the 140th pick will need to, sitting 46 spots clear of his grade. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C-.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Johnson.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.
Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.

In pick 24 they get a wrecking ball inside. A real need, handled.
Circle this one: Kaleb Johnson at pick No. 59 is a fall that decides a draft. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They let Donovan Jackson come to them and pounced at the 97th overall pick. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Value said wait; Cobee Bryant in No. 140 says they were not listening. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
The board had Jabbar Muhammad higher than the Round 5 slot, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
